Frozen is one of those bath bombs that will always be beautiful no matter how many times that you use it. It will always amaze you and it will always be a part of your collection. For those of you who are avid Lushies to those of you who have just started out in the Lush community, you will probably know about the Frozen bath bomb and its beauty. You've probably seen hundreds of glorious photos on Instagram and Twitter showing the fantastic vibrancy of colour.
If all of that doesn't sell this bath bomb to you if you haven't used it already, then maybe the pictures in this review and what I'm about to say will.
I can't really pinpoint what this bath bomb smells like, all I can say is that the mix of the neroli oil, grapefruit oil and rose oil make a fantastic combination. It's sort of florally with a hint of fruitiness. The smell is definitely amazing; it's not too strong, it's subtle: a smell that you definitely notice but one that you can relax with. I know that I definitely relaxed.
After I took all of the pictures for this review and videoed it for my YouTube Lush Demo, I decided not to watch The Walking Dead, instead I just lay back and relaxed. I had been at work that day so a relaxing bath is definitely what I needed, I needed it so much in face that I feel asleep in the bath. Yup... Very dangerous but I think I was only asleep for a couple of minutes.
The colour of the bath and smell combined made it bath heaven and out of the many many bath products that I have tried from Lush - and other companies - this is definitely one of my favourites. When you think of the Disney film, Frozen, what colour do you think of? Blue of course. But what kind of blue? Icy blue? Dark Blue? It doesn't matter. This bath bomb has both of those colours.
At first, Frozen released it's cream of tartar - a white froth - and a light blue colour. The white and blue mixed together looks gorgeous and when the lustre is released, it creates this glittery, blue perfection. Next, the middle of the bath bomb fizzes out and this is a dark blue which when again, mixed together with the white and light blue is fantastic.
Even though there is nothing in the list of ingredients that indicates that this bath bomb is going to moisturising, it sure does the job; my body felt so smooth whilst I was in the bath and even after I got out which is another thing that makes this bath bomb so amazing. The scent of the bath bomb also lingers on your skin for a good couple of hours which is also brilliant.
After stepping out the bath, I realised I was covered in glitter - I'm not a huge fan of a walking glitter person but in this case, I didn't care. I loved the bath bomb too much. It washed off easily and the leftover silver lustre in my bathtub was easy to wash down the drain too. Frozen didn't leave any stains around the tub either.
Overall, this is a statement bath bomb in my collection, I think I have about eight at the moment in my bath bomb box and I'm just so glad that Frozen is a product that is in shops all year round now as I can get as many as I want from the Merry Hill Lush by me. This bath bomb is pretty much perfect in my opinion and I can't think of a bath bomb that has produced this beautiful colour this well.
P.S SORRY FOR THE OVERLOAD OF PHOTOS IN THIS REVIEW. I JUST COULDN'T GET OVER HOW BEAUTIFUL THE COLOURS WERE IN THIS BATH BOMB AND I WANTED TO SHOW YOU GUYS EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. I GOT TOO EXCITED.
